Borders

Borders is an audiovisual performance for modified televisions, loudspeakers and live electronics based on my personal experience as a Colombian dealing with borders. I understand borders not only as a geographically and politically defined lines, like those that determine the territory of a country, but also as lines that are everywhere, anywhere, visible and invisible. This project is about manipulating those borders. By abstracting, modulating, breaking down and reconstructing borders I attempt to redefine them and reveal their consequences on human experience.
